IMO revises list of exempted solid bulk cargoes from CO2 fittings

Check out the latest list issued by the International Maritime Organization (IMO) of solid bulk cargoes that are exempted from CO 2 fittings.

The last time the IMO issued a list of solid bulk cargoes under the International Maritime Solid Bulk Cargoes (IMSBC) Code that can be exempted from having CO2 fittings as per SOLAS regulation II-2/10.7.1.4 was in 2019. The list was recently revised at the Maritime Safety Committee ( MSC)’s 105th meeting held in April 2022.
